Lumos Design is a Gold Coast based commercial interior design studio, collaborating with business owners Australia wide to bring their spaces to life with care, clarity and purpose since 2013.

Lumos Design - Chan Ly
Chan founded Lumos Design in 2013. Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Interior Design with First Class Honours in the UK and exhibited her work at the New Designers show in London where she was snapped up by an international design company. She was placed in the Belgium head office with a large design team working on big brand retail design projects such as L’Oreal, Miss Selfridges and Levi’s, liaising with clients in Spain and London.
She then worked with a Design and Build company in the UK focusing on office fit outs. Her diverse design experience and adaptability to new work environments and strong design flair lead her to venture to Sydney where she gained further experience in commercial projects, mainly in healthcare and the retail design industry.
She landed in the Northern Rivers (NSW) after cruising on a sailing yacht for two seasons in the Great Barrier Reef with her young family. Lumos Design grew through referrals and recommendations working on local design projects supporting small businesses to grow. Lumos Design later expanded to projects located in Sydney, Brisbane, Ballina and Australia wide. Chan's warmth, love for people, attention to detail and high level of integrity in her design delivery leaves a lasting impression on all her clients.
