Amazing transformation from existing to new
The design of the store was based on the practical use of space, vibrant colours to reflect the different zones of furniture. The ceiling feature with the zigzag design vitalises the store like lightning strike.
Creative and playful use of story telling is used to bring spark and individuality into a country style furniture store.
‘The Story of a Chair’
This is written and illustrated along the walkways through out the store to tell a story of ‘The Chair’ that the owner of the business has had in the family for many years. This brings the furniture to life and shows each piece of furniture has a story to tell, how many owners it’s had, who sat on it, how was the chair used and was it dearly ‘LOVED’ or pushed to one side and left to deteriorate?
